Madonna announced on her Instagram today that she is currently taping a Carpool Karaoke with James Corden! The date has yet to be announced.

I must have watched a different show. Cos I don't see her pretending to be having fun. Nor does she seem uptight. I do see her being playful though & pretending to be bitchy but all in good fun. And the Madonna I know & luv has always been good @ turning things & question on the host. Guess I have a different sense of humor but since I get her humor, it's a good thing 4 me.

This particular edition of “Carpool Karaoke†doesn’t have an air date yet, but Madonna does have a concert film debuting on CBS Corp.-owned Showtime on Dec. 9, based on her “Rebel Heart†tour. The film covers the seven-month, 55-city tour that concluded in March.

Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke†segment generated hundreds of millions of YouTube views, and its skyrocketing popularity has spawned a standalone series that will debut exclusively on Apple Musicand a primetime special that aired in March. The special brought home an Emmy  (There’s also an slightly similar Spike TV series hosted by Craig Robinson, “Caraoke Showdown.â€)

Corden is hosting the Ad Council’s Annual Public Service Awards dinner Wednesday night in New York City. “The Late Late Show†airs weekdays on CBS at 12:35 a.m.

Sorry I have never seen the programme but don't they do covers and other people's songs, too?

It will only be (same) Madonna hits?

Maybe this Adele episode will give you an idea

They usually sing the songs with the best melodies since James can sing so well. Im so excited for this!!! 

 

On a side note, Im so glad Madonna seems to be more down to earth and relaxed than ever. Tapping into these fun TV shows, Jimmy Fallon, Ellen etc. / Surprise performances (Washington Square Park, Borderline on Fallon), and not to mention the Tears of a Clown shows.

She's too iconic to be driving around in a car with that numpty, not looking forward to it, I only hope she sells more copies of Rebel Heart 

Maybe she just wants to have a little fun. She isn't above doing anything. It's her fans that put her above stuff. She may just wanna have some fun and do something easy and special.
