This is hard, but I chose TLOL because is more polished. The first verse of TSS kills the song. Without it, it would win. Musically tho....... Orbits production is 100. TLOL is dated cheesy 80s sounding.

The Look of Love is a beautiful love song coming from a place of soul searching, strength and vulnerability. It's much too mature for my romantic angst ridden heart but I see it's wonderfulness.

 

Time Stood Still pulls at my heartstrings and makes me sad about what could have been. It describes all the feelings of being in love and how those feelings still were not enough to hold the relationship together. It's sad but instead of being bitter it speaks well of all the feelings felt during the relationship like it was worth it.

Wow..  I think this is an age thing.  The Look Of Love is (to me) by far a better song lyrically, melodically.  yes Time Stood Still is a newer more modern produced track but OMG, The Look Of Love is perfection.
