The song that's on my mind today is "Mer Girl".  I love how dark and haunting this song is.  Her songs about her mother are especially beautiful.  I would love for her to write more profound lyrics and songs like this.

Didn't appreciate this track when I first listened to the record in 2006 but repeated listenings and the production itself, I've definitely grown to love it and it's distorted ending. I'm glad she finally dusted this one off and gave us our first live performance of it on TOAC.
