  1. Stuart's obviously not aware of the existence of the Orbit Remix of Justify My Love.
  2. Yeah i think due to the simplicity of the show, two things she can easily swap songs out and put other rehearsed songs in as she pleases and she can get through the whole tour without becoming ill again. There could be a 2nd leg with a revised setlist like Sticky and she might do South America, ASIA AND AUS possibly.
  3. I Think the intention was there initially to issue expanded anniversary editions of her albums, but Madonna changes her mind the whole time, for example she was working hard on a Biography, then it was shelved. I think there might be a possibility that some sort of Boxset covering her singles, key album tracks and some demos, alternate takes and unreleased mixes, might be released to coincide with the Tour or near the end of it. Something in the vein of 4 Decades. That way it ties in with the Celebration Tour, and covers her whole career, i think this might be the place where new songs might appear too.
  4. quite sure this is not Stuart! This guy is Younger and thinner looking and camp as knickers too! Would love to PROVEN wrong though! Need more than just a grainy picture.
  5. It worries me greatly with the supposed deluxe editions coming soon, that they're failing to source the masters for the original 1984 edits of Borderline and Lucky Star. They are both still vinyl only. All compilations have used Q sound mixes since then. Makes me wonder if they can't locate the original masters. So my question is, will they appear on a Deluxe Edition of Madonna in the future? Didn't someone find the multi tracks for Borderline and Lucky Star discarded in a skip back in the day.
  6. STAGE FRIGHT..........................HAVE A LITTLE MORE UNDERSTANDING!
  7. Yeah looking back at the UK Charts for DEC 94 it was top 10 in airplay, A listed at Radio One. So would have been getting played regularly. I too think it was a combination of boring formats (nothing new), General Public would have just bought the Album instead, so close to the Christmas rush, and it was competing with other Ballads at the time, one of which was Think Twice by Celine. R&B wasn't huge in the UK Charts at that time either. Had it been held back and released mid to end Jan 95 when it was starting to ride high in the US Charts, with some additional tracks on the formats, i think it would have charted better, but may have sold less as it was always quite sales wise in Jan after Christmas.
  8. Here in the UK as an avid Madonna Fan from the eighties, i remember reading in one of the pop magazines of the time say around 1987, they did a piece on Madonna's Discography up until then and included some info on harder to find tracks. They mentioned that the 3.45 version of Burning up which they referred to as the exclusive video version. It was only available on CD pressings of the First Album. Up until that point, the 4.48 version was available on all UK Vinyl and Cassette pressings of the Album. Needless to say that's why the 4.48 version is NOT available on CD. So whenever the first CD editions of the First Album were released, that's when the 3.45 version was released on any Format other than Video. Not sure when the first pressings of the CD were available in the eighties, 86 perhaps?
  9. I wonder how much the Netflix series the Crown makes each Year? This is the second last season to be aired next week. Plus one final season pencilled in for next Year. After that there would be a great opportunity to fill the void with another big Series with a Woman as famous as her HR The Queen. It would be great if Madonna's life story was depicted similarly to the Crown, a Decade at a time, therefore being able to go into a bit more detail. But would really love to know if it could make more money this way compared to a 2 hour movie with so much crammed into it.
  10. Madonna is an artist. She is also a control freak. She is also very Frugal when it comes to money whether it be spending it or saving it. She hates looking back at past Music Projects. And her relationships / friendships with previous collaborators have either completely broken down or is strained in most cases. Take into the mix that Record companies want to make as much money and also to save as much money too. Those people working for the Record Companies involved at present, weren't around in Madonna's heyday. They may also be fairly uninterested in her music catalogue. And therefore have very poor insight into what is available and where to find it. If you look at each Madonna album, there is a plethora of official mixes, which are still not available digitally or are promo only. Can the master tapes for these mixes be found? Look at past Greatest hit Compilations. Repeated use of Immaculate Collection Versions and newly created cut and paste versions used. Why not use the original masters. Maybe they are lost, stolen or can't be located. Maybe it's more cost effective to reuse readily available and DIY mixes. Finally enough Love 50 number ones is the first taster of what is to come. A great compilation for fans and casual buyers. Everything on it is fairly familiar and easy to obtain, Keep it Together is the only new track. Is it a previously unreleased version or is it a Mike Dean (Madonna didn't like the original outro) re edit. It was probably the most cost-effective way to showcase Madonna's 50 dance number ones on a compilation. If we were to go on this theory and the First Album was to be the next deluxe edition, then the track listing might look like this, CD1 Lucky Star (Album version) Borderline (Album Version) Burning Up (Common Album Version / Video Version) I Know It (Album Version) Holiday (Album Version) Think Of Me (Album Version) Physical Attraction (Album Version) Everybody (Album Version) CD2 Lucky Star (US Extended Dance mix) Borderline (Extended Dance Mix) Burning Up (12” Version) Everybody (US Dub Mix) Borderline (Dub Version) Everybody (Instrumental) CD3 Lucky Star (Replica 7” Version / Edit) Borderline (7” Version / Edit) Burning Up (Dance Mix Edit) Holiday (Edit) Physical Attraction (Edit) Everybody (Edit) Ain't No Big Deal (Reggie Lucas Version) DVD With remastered videos and throw in a couple of early live performances if they can be brushed up but keep the costs down! Notes Lucky Star (7” Version / Edit) Have they lost the master tapes? It's never been used since the eighties all versions appearing on Compilations are not it. Borderline (Remix Edit / It's That Girl Version) A version created specifically for that compilation and can no longer be located, only fans know of its existence) Burning Up (Original Album Version) just like Lucky Star (Edit) or like Borderline (Remix Edit) only fans know of its existence, is Madonna really going to remember this version after all this time?) Everybody (UK Remixes) Madonna still thinks they're Sh*t. And doesn't see the point in throwing any money Rusty Egan's way. Ain't No Big Deal (Reggie Lucas Version) well we already have this version so let's remaster it and put it out again! The other versions are probably lost and have been forgotten about. Demos made during the recording process. In Madonna's eyes she's an artist and these versions are unfinished and don't sound good enough to be released to the general public. Or they're out there on sharing platforms go there if you want to hear them but we're not going to waste money polishing them up. Roll on Like A Virgin. Warning signs, Warner's don't even own it. Can the master be located or is it lost / stolen? Needless to say it's never surfaced after all these years. Madonna probably hates it. Or would have to grovel to Steve Bray to get his permission to use it. And also have to pay him some money in the process. And it goes on and on...........
  11. Narada Michael Walden Phil Ramone Nile Rogers Trevor Horn Nile got it due to his work on Let's Dance by Bowie.
  12. I think number three is great for the UK. Mariah only got to number 35 in the UK in 2003 with her remix collection. Steps have a bigger profile in the UK with the GP. No promotion, no new tracks, effectively its another hits collection, albeit some of it is remixes, none are new remixes. No presence in the UK for a a few years, since the Madame X Tour. this is the 6th compilation album from her here. She's in her 60s This release was geared up mostly for fans. As will be all the future deluxe editions and compilations.
  13. I remember that Deeper and Deeper was originally listed as a Remix on the early Track list too.
  14. Thank you very much for the trouble you have gone to. To make this happen. Very much appreciated.

    Rozanna

A question for the old timer Madonna Fans. I live in the UK and had a cassette tape of a singer called Rozanna singing Madonna songs, I remember Angel, Gambler and Lucky Star being on it. It was around 84/85. Does anyone remember this or have anymore info on it. I can't find anything on the Web about it.
