I read an article the other day talking about how double A-side singles are making a comeback, which if you're not familiar, is releasing two singles at the same time, the idea being to increase chances of getting a hit. The article talked about Ed Sheeran releasing Shape of You & Castle on a Hill with Shape of You ending up being the bigger hit. Anyway, Madonna should do this. Fans complain she doesn't do enough videos for release (not including tour backdrop videos), especially in recent years where artists drop videos left & right, singles or not, sometimes full visual albums; as well as the what should be the single releases. Every album she does has so many potential singles, and there've been many missed opportunities in more recent years (Beat Goes On, Beautiful Killer, Rebel Heart, Hold Tight, etc. Seeing that she has trouble charting & gettin radio play (lets not go into the bullshit reasons why, (*cough* ageism), this could be of some help. Take Rebel Heart, the double A-side single releases could've looked something like this, with videos (and hopefully remixes) for each song.: -Living For Love & Ghosttown -Bitch I'm Madonna & Hold Tight -Devil Pray & Unapologetic Bitch -Rebel Heart & Iconic This would get the album more exposure, makes fans happy/gives them more to complain & argue about (regardless, it keeps the fire burning for better or for worse lol). The more songs the general public gets to hear, the greater the chances something takes off & increase her chances of charting & having another big hit. Just throw it all at the wall & see what sticks! The music industry is a shit show, and that's not even getting into ageism, etc. A release plan like this could only help IMO. I notice that recording her kids is something like 50/50. Sometimes Madonna record it herself and sometimes her staff record it. for example one of her latest Instagram post 'David's Martial arts video' is definitely one of her staff(family friend, assistant whatever) recorded it. And I notice that if Madonna record herself then she usually wanna show herself and wanna make it clear it is her to recording. lol

What I wonder is, if it is really her writing and posting all that stuff on Instagram, recording her kids on camera etc. Or does she have a social media crew or something? For my own account, I don’t mind her side projects and her promos for them. On the other side, I love her sharing her daily life, time with kids etc. It feels much more intimate and closer to her. But I wish she looked back a little bit, celebrate her old stuff a little more. I admire her living for today, but she has a legendary catalogue and it would be nice to share her thoughts, insight, and feelings about anniversaries of her albums, singles, tours etc.

The whole thing is useless. The fan disrespecting her for no reason who is not going to accomplish anything because he's nobody to change her mind or tell her what to do. And Madonna responding and then deleting the thread when she already knows nothing good comes from engaging the negativity in the first place. And us commenting about it. What does any of this accomplish. I don't know guys, I'm gonna go watch a movie.

So true. Exactly. But it seems we can't even complaint about that either. Something that is logical at any point of view I think, but not for some people. They are satisfied with whatever "crappy thing" (perfumes, gyms, H&M...) she (and her team) gives them, and then everybody has to think the same way... I too wish this crazy unlimited focus on 'MDNA Skin' would translate also into GOOD music and re-releases of her old catalogue or anniversary editions of her best-selling albums... legacy? Yeah! So what about music releases, Madonna? What about having something released for posterity and being professionally made, Madonna? Shows filmed that won’t see the light of day... unless this situation is changed. Yep! Not happy with these decisions of her team, honestly. It's a matter of will and what they want to do and what not. For both parts, the record label and Madonna. Come on, her legacy will always be in her recordings and the music that its found in her albums.

Apparently, I can't mention Madonna's age as ONE of the zillion factors she's not popular anymore because now it seems I'm discriminating her? I've been following her since she turned 40 and she was already considered an old act. You know what? I've learnt to live with that crap til this day and I honestly couldn't give a damn about what the media has to say. You are the one comparing her promotion performance and commercial tactics in this thread and comes here thinking what she should really do is fucking flooding the internet with, according to your opinion, the same things all those Asian successful acts are doing these days... Well, honey she will never do it because she's Madonna, and has never sacrificed her life or lived up to the expectations from the media and fans. A different story was being told almost 20 years ago when she only had Lola to worry about and had time to manage the terrific Ray of Light promotion. Now she's got a family and her kids are growing up quickly and obviously wants to spend her time in other parental and artistic projects. Her music has always been important and we fans are dying to know what she is going to offer in a few months? But do I believe her music career is the most important center of her attention right now. HELL NO. It seems it hasn't been since the American Life era when she almost wrote the entire album just before she started recycling old ideas in Confessions, Hard Candy, MDNA, and Rebel Heart. Do I have more important things to worry about? Of course! I do have a life outside the board... Should I remind you who's was writing shit about Madonna's APPARENT weight gain a few months ago?? I think for me the main distinction is artist's intent and in this case, Madonna never intended it to be another studio album, it was never promoted as such ("Vogue" in fact was originally intended as a b-side to "Keep It Together", ie. to continue promotion of the "Like A Prayer" album). "I'm Breathless" would not come to life had it not been for the movie and that's what separates it from "Like A Prayer" and "Erotica" for example, whether all of the songs appeared in "Dick Tracy" or not is beside the point. Either way, love the record - "Back To Business" is awesome, "More" always makes me smile and "Something To Remember" is a beauty.
